My Journey Through Hard Times

Well, you guys said you wanted to see my journey and to know how I'm getting through hard times.
So here it is:

Brutal Day, friends ... But this is the first step in rebuilding. When we moved into the space four years ago, there was nothing but optimism, even during the dreaded pandemic. Today, as we finished packing and dumping, there was lots of anger (as this wasn't my choice ... we will get to that on another day), lots of fear, and some sadness watching everything I have worked so hard for to be packed up or thrown away.

I am covered in sweat, dust and god knows what else, so I'm going to take a good hot shower and probably a good cry.
THEN
I'm going to get dressed in clean clothes, take my kids to what they need to do...
THEN

I'm going to start planning... I'm going to figure out where these things and the broken parts of me are going to land. The kids and I will be moving to my grandmother's I'm not sure where the workshop will be yet, but it will be. This is not the end. It is just STEP ONE.

Sometimes, to create a better space, you need to tear down the one you're in. While this wasn't my choice. It isn't going to be my choice to give up on myself.

Stay Tuned

I'm working on posts from the beginning to remind myself and everyone else how far I have already come and that I am resilient enough to do it again.
