This is me

This is me! Wasn't I cute!! Rainbow Brite and all!

There's something about looking at old photos and seeing the life in between—the then and now—that's just wild!! Where did the time go? Was it worth it? Did I do all that I could? Are there regrets? What have I accomplished?

There's so much of everything in the almost 40 years between these photos!! I'm starting to sort through what's left (not much; I'm going to be rebuilding from the ground up, and that's okay). I'm trying to tap into the girl in the first photo... what did she want? Who did she think we were going to be? I'm going to borrow some of her imagination and spirit, and most importantly, I'm going to make this little girl proud. We've come a long way but have a long way to go.

What would your younger self have said if she saw you now? What did you want to be? More importantly, did you have Rainbow Brite clothes too?? lol
