Hypoestes Phyllostachya Pink Splash, or Splash Select Pink Polka Dot Plant, a flowering plant species of the Acanthaceae family, is a popular "gift plant" because it has beautiful pointed leaves that remain white with distinctive dark green dots and pink/purple flowers at the nodes. Its lavender-colored flowers rise above the nodes, usually in the summer or early fall.
